I was rear-ended yesterday. This makes the fourth time I've been hit in less than four years in Memphis, and the second time someone's rear-ended me because they didn't brake sufficiently in the rain. I'm kind of getting tired of it! :/
My head hit the driver-side window when he hit me, and my glasses cut into my skin right on the brow bone, giving me a nice little gash (2 cm long according to the triage nurse at the ER). Lucky for you, dear reader, I happened to have my digital camera with me, so I documented the progression of my wound throughout the day.
I got a Owie!
After a couple of hours of driving around town trying to find someone who would stitch it up!

This has definitely not been my most beautiful year, what with losing a toe-nail late last summer, and a fingernail at the beginning of this year (both have since grown back), and shaving my hair off, and now I've got a big black eye and 5 stitches just under my eyebrow! I think if I'm ever a pregnant woman feeling ugly and un-feminine, all I'll have to do is remember this & surely I'll feel better! :)
Ironically, neither of our cars had any damage. that's what ya get for driving an old, sturdy almost-20 year-old car, I guess!
